Programs

The Kakwa Community of Seattle is committed to empowering individuals and families through programs that strengthen our cultural identity, build pathways to opportunity, and provide critical support for community well-being. Rooted in the values of belonging, hope, and resilience, our initiatives address the holistic needs of the Kakwa people in Washington State and extend support to families abroad.

Our five core program areas: Youth Development & After-School Enrichment, Career & Workforce Training, Cultural Enrichment & Community Engagement, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development, and Health, Wellness & Community Support, are designed to create lasting impact. Together, they nurture young people, equip adults with career and business skills, preserve cultural traditions, promote healthy living, and ensure that every community member has access to the resources they need to thrive.
